OUR WHERE -
Currently we are based in Hokkaido, Japan. The second snowiest place in the world.
Japan is also one of the most unreached people groups—with less than 1% Christian.
We have seen how the Lord has brought abundant life to us and we hope for others to experience that too. He is our only constant one no matter what happens in our world.
We fell in love with Japan ten years ago and we are so humbled by the opportunity we get, to serve here!
OUR WHAT-
We believe that healthy marriages and families can have a huge impact on a community and even a nation. John 13:35 says, “by this everyone will now that you are My disciples, if you love one another. “
That is our number one goal and priority here in Japan- love. We hope (by His grace) that what Japan sees when they look at our marriage, our family, and our community here will draw them into their own desire to be apart of the body of Christ and to welcome them into His family.
We also felt the Lord ask us to prioritize our language learning and our finances in the first couple of years!

-Investing in community as the church of Acts did through intercession, evangelism, worship and meals.

-Stephanie is serving on the Member Care team with YWAM Japan
With WHO:
We are working with YWAM (Youth With a Mission). We have both worked with YWAM before we met and loved their hearts for community and sharing the gospel.
Our team is currently made up of all families, including us, we have 8 adults and 16 kids! Family is a big part of our ministry and it’s both challenging and beautiful. We love that God chooses to reveal Himself to His people as a father, He invites people into His family as sons and daughters so it feels very natural to do ministry as family—it is what our message is all about!
